THE ROCK
Here I am on top this magnificent Rock. My voice shrills like a bell, singing my songs of fortune and grace. The winds hear me and billow. The distant trees hear too. They join me in tune; louder, harmoniously. On and on I sing. Then, my heart settles in peace.
Here I am on top this Rock. No schedules or worries. I am one with the free bird. I am one with that eagle, the great bird I see over there. It spreads its wings and I spread mine too. It flies high and I go higher. High above the cares and fears, I fly in joy. Free, I am free. It is always from this Rock. It's my place of freedom and strength. A place to be vivified and refreshed. No one can take it from me.
